Psychotherapy specialty prepares students to gain knowledge concerned with change and improvement of life and with the obtaining of the set goals. It prepares to recognition of various psychotherapy concepts, it encompasses various theoretical and clinical concepts, pragmatics of a therapist actions and choice of the ideal therapeutic strategies and procedures matching the specific problems of each patient. The graduates have abilities referring to cognitive processes, emotions and motivation.
Modern, adjusted to the labour market needs program allows students to start career path as an individual therapist, but also in the mental help centers, support facilities specializing in mental health disturbances and other places. You will gain the ability to conduct various types of individual, family or group therapy. After graduation further education in psychotherapy is possible on postgraduate studies.
Part-time mode
You meet the lecturer and the group both, online and at the premises of the University. Meetings take place on weekends and selected Friday afternoons.
Full-time mode
Classes are mostly of in-person nature organized on weekdays. Typically they take place 3-4 days a week at the premises of the University and some part of the lectures is delivered on-line.
Hybrid learning
Part of the classes (mainly lectures) are delivered on the MS Teams platform, and majority of labs are based on-site in the lecture rooms.
The schedule includes days that are fully remote, but also days that all classes are held on-site.
