Payment plan
The program covers nutrition in metabolic, endocrine, cancerous diseases, circulatory and reproductive systems diseases and in psychiatric disorders. The issues connected with diet therapy in geriatrics, food allergies, food intolerance, poisonings and the nutrition of hospitalized patients are going to be discussed during studies. Great emphasis is put on the hands-on workshops and ability to work with patients.
The aim of the studies is to provide specialist knowledge and to develop practical skills concerning nutrition planning in case of various diseases. Participants shall learn how to interpret lab test results, how to adjust diet plan to the condition of the patient and how to educate their patients in terms of healthy lifestyle. Great emphasis is put on the interdisciplinary approach and on working with multimorbid patient.
Completion of higher education (at least Bachelor’s degree) is required for admission.
Graduates of the studies shall possess the advanced knowledge and practical skills necessary in diet therapy. They will be prepared for independent diet planning in various diseases, for working in therapeutic teams, for educating patients and their families, for cooperation with medical teams in healthcare facilities, sanatoriums, care facilities or dietary clinics.
