In accordance with the “Law on Higher Education”, the composition and competencies of the University’s Senate are determined by the “Statute of the Medical University of Applied and Holistic Sciences”.
The term of office of the Senate is three years.
The most important competencies of the Senate:
- Adoption of Articles of Association, mission and strategy
- Adoption of the material and financial plan
- Approval of financial statements and annual reports of the Rector
- Adoption of study regulations, regulations for postgraduate studies and rules for admission to studies
- Creating guidelines for the creation of a study plan and educational programs, as well as study plans and programs for post-graduate studies and further education courses
- Adoptation regulations for the management of copyright and related rights.
