Holistic dietetics is a big-picture perspective on the human nutrition on every stage of life. The program is characterized by a holistic approach – it connects the knowledge on the nutrition and human health with the elements of psychology, it allows to understand the needs and nutritional behavior of various groups of people. During classes you will find out how to plan balanced diets for children, the elderly and people who are physically active. You will also get acquainted with the secrets of clinical dietetics – you will learn to plan meals that support the treatment of various diseases. You will be able to critically address alternative diets on the basis of your knowledge on the medicine of facts.
Part-time mode
You meet the lecturer and the group both, online and at the premises of the University. Meetings take place on weekends and selected Friday afternoons.
Full-time mode
Classes are mostly of in-person nature organized on weekdays. Typically they take place 3-4 days a week at the premises of the University and some part of the lectures is delivered on-line.
Hybrid learning
Part of the classes (mainly lectures) are delivered on the MS Teams platform, and majority of labs are based on-site in the lecture rooms.
The schedule includes days that are fully remote, but also days that all classes are held on-site.
